Politics.

Alright. Im 22 years old. I have a pretty level head and I want world peace. Im usually not political but I am kind of into the Presidential election this year. Now I have to take it in small sittings but I actually am watching CNN a lot these days. Its just interesting. 

    I love the grit, the debates and although I realize I should not because it is our nations leadership at stake, I still am entertained. 

    I like both candidates but disagree with some of their plans and policies and there is always the concern of who is being truthful and who is friends with terrorist… JUST KIDDING!!! ha I’m sure I’ll hear it tomorrow from a fellow blogger.

But along with everyone let me just say hey if you can vote, make sure you do and If your too young, dont let that stop you. again JK.

As for now I’m going to enjoy my hot apple cider, this really comfy chair, and Anderson Cooper, who always has such a great shave.

Good Weekend….playa

I needed a weekend that was therapeutic and I got one. This weekend I am leading worship at…basically my home church. And this weekend was all about family and home. The weather was beautiful and chilly and the sun rise today was just so still. This is some of my beautiful family.

So check it out. Im packing up my gear from leading worship wednesday night. its dark, a bit sketchy but I’m cool. All the sudden I hear some moaning and crying. Its sounds like a bird or something  and Mac ( a awesome friend) and I go to investigate. There are some old sofa’s outside that we cheek out and in the botton of a couch, stuck in a spring is a orphaned baby kitten (signaling the “awwwe’s”.) had not even opened its eyes yet, the poor thing. So I brought it home after we decided it would be the best thing to do after we had found his brothers and sisters were not as lucky. So the last 24 hours I have been nursing, bathing, and getting this kitten to pass a bowl, haha. Its been awesome. I’ve decided to call it Harper and She is Amazing. Check her out!

Sick Again… I love fall

Its 1:02am and I am restless. I feel a cold or a bug coming on and it’s just not a good time to get sick. It never is I guess but I am playing so much and I don’t want to let anyone down. So I will have tea time late into the night in hopes of relief.

   Today was a great day. I did a shoot for my best friend will reid and his music. It was cut short though because of the weather (ill put some photos up soon.) but all is well. Pray for me as ill be at work in the morning not feeling so hot. dont think anything of the “cody burbage” poster on the fridge. My mum’s a pretty big fan and because of my lack of A+ test in school, now she has something to post on the ice box. good night.

Record Update

So here is a little documentation of the recording process. Great times im having working on this thing. I feel like I am actually capturing myself on tape. Before i felt like i could never get a real athentic performance of myself recorded and with the help of a great guy named Jerry Jacobs, Its happening. Here is a glimpse of two songs. Great Night.

Last night was truly a lot of fun. The night went well. A great friend named Jerry recorded the whole thing last night so maybe ill post some of those songs when its finished being edited. 

Last night though has got me on a new kick. Playing guitar is a very aggressive and sometimes can be dangerous. This is where I just came down on the strings to early and caught my finger.

Im going to start loading supper glue on my nails before i play and maybe the skin will stay on my fingers. Its basic Rock n Roll.
