Happy Thanksgiving

Hello. 

Its friday morning and I just got back from a crazy morning. I have always wondered what it is like at a department store on “Black Friday.” Well today I awoke at 6am to experience the madness. It was insane seeing hundreds of people fighting and running and acting like children. I enjoyed it and picked up a couple gifts for some family.

I love thanksgiving… Its like a marker. I always think if i can just get to thanksgiving this year i’ll be okay. It means that I can dust off the old Christmas records, and I can buy gifts and just have so much joy that for some reason only comes in December. But yesterday was a great day. We always go to my Aunt’s house in Estill, SC. Vast farm lands and old trees is all you see and I love just getting away from the sounds of city and suburb.

So we did some climbing, some photos, and of-course, some tackle football.

Two hours before a show.

hey there,

its been a while. Im getting ready to leave to play at a cool little venue in summerville called mojo’s. But before I eft my place i just wanted to get a cup of tea and give you a little bit of a disappointing update. So I have been extremely excited about the upcoming release of my new unplugged record of December 5th. 

Here’s the deal…. I want it to be good, for YOU! really just for you. I want you to listen and think… “yes.”

I want it to blow your mind in simplicity and I want you to just get sweet vibes from the “drenched in drama” lyrics:). And although I feel its good, its not amazing yet and I cant have people disappointed. So………… I have decided to push the date back a month or two. I feel like there are more songs to write and there are new arrangements to look at and experiment with.

yeah, a show…. and just before the cd release. So sorry but 21 and older, its going to be fun…try to sneak in.

also, Harper, my lil orphan kitty is doing so well. She is now 100% litter trained and now just trying to get her off the bottle. hang it there…

Denied my right

So I went today to vote at 1:30p. I registered and then started walk to the back of the line. It wraped around stratfor from the fromtg around the cafe. 3 hour wait my friends. Unbelievable.I had to meet jerry and will at the studio in an hour and a half and so I had to leave and come back later.

@6:15p my wife and I go to vote and the line was nice and short. We tried to walk to the back of the line but the man told us we needed to sign in. We told we already did but that we had to come back and they we said we wernt allowed to vote because we could have been scaming to vote twice. So no vote. Bull crud.
